The Wheezer in game.
Wheezers are enemies that appear in Battleship Game.
Appearance
Wheezers appear as giant gasmasks that tower over the player, with an elephant-like trunk that emits smoke clinging to the mouth region. The eyeholes are very small and high up on the face, suggesting a possibly alien origin.
Behavior
Wheezers drift back and forth across the map, bouncing slowly off of walls and hovering up and down. They occasionally emit gas clouds that drift in one direction before vanishing. This attack is not dependent on the players location and can occur no matter how far away the player is. If the player shoots these gas clouds, they will turn his/her bullets into a shield, which further blocks shots until it goes away. These clouds cannot be destroyed or shot through as a result. If a gas cloud touches a player, it will freeze them for a while, which disables movement and the ability to shoot. This in itself is not dangerous as the damage is trivial from the cough clouds, but other enemies can utilize the opportunity to deal serious damage to the helpless player.
The wheezer does not deal contact damage. When being shot it generates the same type of shield bullets as the cough clouds, and takes 4 independent shots to be felled.
Variant
A Wheez-E
There is a variant of the Wheezer that appears in Randommode, known as a Wheez-E. This Wheezer has toxic symbols for its eyeholes, and green slime that drips down from them. Instead of gas clouds, it emits acid clouds, which deal much more damage, block shots, and also poison the player. These variant enemies take 10 shots to kill instead of 4.
